It is used in the production of continuous, staple or non-woven fibers, oriented and bioriented film, thin plate or sheet, and injected pieces. By the blow molding process it can be used in the manufacture of bottles and containers. As a fiber it is used in medical and sport clothing, disposable diapers, upholstery for furniture and automobiles, home and industrial carpets, etc. It is also used to manufacture belts, fishing nets, marine equipment and floatings; weaves for agricultural protection, industrial filters and bristles for brushes and brooms.

By thermoforming, the Polypropylene sheet is converted in different kinds of thin wall containers and packaging that stand out for their transparency and durability.

Among other applications, injection molded PP pieces are used in the manufacture of fans, connectors,safety equipment, batteries, interior parts of automobiles, dashboards and instrument panels, bumpers, moldings, ducts, electronics and arm rests.

It is also used in the manufacture of housewares as rigid receptacles for food, bowls, trays, kitchen devices, laundry baskets, bath seats, garden furniture, toys and components of suitcase and baggages, also for medical articles as syringes and bottles.
